By placing an order with Moonstone & Mayhem (“M&M,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge and agree to the policies, terms, and disclaimers below. Please read them before purchasing.

1. The whole point is the mystery
Moonstone & Mayhem Mystery Scoops contain randomly selected merchandise from our available inventory. The exact contents of your order are not known or guaranteed before your scoop is completed. Product photographs, website images, social-media posts, packing videos, promotional graphics, and previous customer orders are examples of merchandise that may be available and do not guarantee that you will receive the same products.
Items may vary in brand, color, pattern, fragrance, flavor, material, size, design, category, or style depending upon current inventory. The number of items received may also vary because products differ substantially in type, size, cost, and value.
2. Your likes, dislikes & exclusions
We want you to love your mayhem. Customers may provide preferences including likes, dislikes, favorite colors, styles, interests, and exclusions. We will make a reasonable effort to consider those preferences when fulfilling an order. However, preferences are requests—not guarantees. Mystery Scoops remain mystery products, and fulfillment depends upon inventory available at the time your order is prepared.
If you identify an allergy, sensitivity, or other important exclusion, please make that information clear when ordering. However, Moonstone & Mayhem cannot guarantee that merchandise or packaging has been manufactured, stored, transported, or handled in an allergen-free environment.
3. Duplicates & variety
We will make reasonable efforts to provide variety within an order, particularly when multiple scoops are purchased. However, because inventory changes and Mystery Scoops are randomized, duplicate or similar items may occasionally occur. Receiving a duplicate, similar item, alternate color, or alternate style does not by itself mean an order was fulfilled incorrectly.
4. Beach, Please! 🏖️
Beach, Please! is an optional upgraded surprise experience. It may be purchased as an add-on or awarded through the applicable special-bead mechanism in a Mystery Scoop. Purchasing Beach, Please! guarantees the Beach, Please! experience, but does not guarantee any specific product shown in photographs, videos, advertisements, or promotional graphics. The Message in a Bottle is part of the reveal experience. Merchandise awarded will vary according to available qualifying inventory.
5. Absolute Mayhem 💎
Absolute Mayhem is a higher-tier surprise experience. It may be purchased as an add-on or triggered when a qualifying Cape May Diamond is found in a Mystery Scoop. Purchasing Absolute Mayhem guarantees an Absolute Mayhem experience but does not guarantee a specific advertised or pictured prize. Photographs and promotional materials represent examples of possible qualifying merchandise only.
6. The Jersey Jackpot 🧡
One orange bead is seeded into each inventory batch. Finding that bead in a Mystery Scoop triggers the Jersey Jackpot. The Jersey Jackpot is not available for individual purchase.
Because only one orange bead exists per batch, the Jersey Jackpot can be won at most once per inventory batch, and in any case no more than once per calendar month.
The Jersey Jackpot winner receives a personally curated box created specifically for that customer using the likes, dislikes, interests, styles, colors, and exclusions provided to Moonstone & Mayhem. The box features special items that are not part of our ordinary shelf inventory. There is no predetermined Jersey Jackpot box or fixed list of products, and no specific dollar value is promised. Contents will vary according to the winner's preferences and available merchandise.
7. Special beads & random outcomes
The presence of any special bead or promotional trigger is not guaranteed in an ordinary Mystery Scoop unless the applicable experience has specifically been purchased as an add-on. Random outcomes are random. Purchasing additional scoops does not guarantee a special bead, Jersey Jackpot, Cape May Diamond, butterfly, or any particular result.
Pawspector's Choice 🐾 — A pink paw-print bead is a special-bead outcome in which Pawspector #621 personally selects an item from our bead board for your order. The selected item is chosen at Moonstone & Mayhem's discretion, varies with available inventory, and is final — no swaps, substitutions, or returns on the basis of the Pawspector's selection. As with all special beads, its presence in any scoop is random and not guaranteed.
8. Packing video add-on 🎥
Customers may purchase the Video Add-On to have their order featured in a Moonstone & Mayhem packing/scoop video. The add-on guarantees that we will create a video featuring the applicable order. It does not guarantee a particular video length; a particular posting date, time, or social-media platform; any number of views, likes, comments, shares, followers, or other engagement; or that the customer's real name or identifying information will appear publicly.
Media release: By purchasing the Video Add-On, you grant Moonstone & Mayhem the right to record, photograph, edit, use, reproduce, and publish video and images of your order and its packing on our social-media and marketing channels, in perpetuity, without further compensation. You may provide a first name, nickname, or initials for display; if you provide none, your order will be kept anonymous. We will not publish your full billing name or contact information, and we may edit videos for length, clarity, privacy, entertainment, or technical reasons.
9. Small parts & choking hazard ⚠️
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Some Moonstone & Mayhem merchandise may contain small parts, beads, stones, charms, jewelry components, crystals, decorative pieces, packaging components, or other objects that could present a choking hazard. Unless the individual manufacturer's packaging expressly states otherwise, Moonstone & Mayhem products should not be considered toys or products intended for young children. Keep small objects away from babies, toddlers, pets, and anyone who may place objects in their mouth.
10. Children & adult supervision
Some products included in Moonstone & Mayhem orders may be unsuitable for children. Children and minors should use products only with appropriate adult supervision and in accordance with any manufacturer-provided age recommendations, warnings, directions, or restrictions. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether an item is appropriate for a particular child. Products involving small parts, cosmetics, fragrances, glass, sharp components, heat, candles, cords, jewelry, batteries, chemicals, or other potential hazards require particular care and appropriate supervision.
11. Product Safety & Responsible Use
Many Moonstone & Mayhem items are everyday consumer goods made by third parties. Please use every product only as its manufacturer intends, and follow all labels, warnings, and directions that come with it. A few common-sense notes:
- Cosmetics, skincare, fragrance & body products: read the manufacturer's ingredients and directions, patch-test a new product before full use, and stop right away if irritation occurs. Don't use on broken skin or near eyes unless the product says it's meant for that.
- Crystals, stones & spiritual-themed items: these are sold as decorative, collectible, personal-interest pieces. Any traditional or metaphysical descriptions are for entertainment only — not medical advice or a substitute for professional care. Natural stones vary in color, shape, and finish.
- Candles, wax & anything used with heat or flame: follow the manufacturer's safety instructions, never leave a flame unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, and anything flammable.
- Glass, ceramic & breakables: inspect on arrival and don't use an item that arrives cracked, chipped, or otherwise damaged in a way that could be unsafe — contact us instead.
12. Allergies & sensitivities
Customers are responsible for reviewing product labels and ingredient information before use, particularly if they have known allergies or sensitivities. Products may contain or have been manufactured or handled around ingredients capable of causing allergic reactions or sensitivities. Moonstone & Mayhem does not manufacture, formulate, or test any of the products it sells; every item is made by an independent third party. We rely on the manufacturers’ own labeling and cannot independently verify or test their ingredients.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Moonstone & Mayhem is not responsible for allergic reactions or individual sensitivities arising from the use of a product. If you experience a reaction, stop using the product and seek appropriate medical attention when necessary.
13. California Proposition 65 warning
WARNING: Some products sold by Moonstone & Mayhem—including certain crystals, natural stones, jewelry, and cosmetic or personal-care items—can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
14. Third-party products
Every item sold by Moonstone & Mayhem is made by an independent third party; we do not manufacture any products ourselves. Manufacturer trademarks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners. Moonstone & Mayhem's inclusion of a third-party product in a Mystery Scoop does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless expressly stated. Manufacturer warnings and instructions should always be followed.
15. Product photographs & colors
We make reasonable efforts to represent merchandise accurately. However, colors and appearance can vary because of lighting, photography, screen settings, manufacturing variations, and differences between individual products. Images of completed boxes, previous Mystery Scoops, prizes, add-ons, and inventory are illustrative examples and not promises of exact contents.
16. Inventory & availability
Our inventory changes constantly, and we fill each order from the merchandise available when it is packed — that is the nature of a Mystery Scoop. If a specific item you were expecting (such as an added-on experience) cannot be fulfilled as described, we will contact you to make it right. See Section 19 for what happens if we are unable to ship your order within eight (8) weeks.
17. Order changes & cancellations
Because Mystery Scoops and curated orders require preparation and may be individually assembled, cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible after ordering. Once an order has been scooped, personalized, curated, filmed, packed, or shipped, cancellation may no longer be available. Any cancellation terms presented at checkout form part of these policies.
18. Returns & refunds
Mystery Scoops, Beach, Please!, Absolute Mayhem, Jersey Jackpot boxes, and other personalized/curated mystery products are FINAL SALE except when an order arrives damaged, defective, materially incomplete, or incorrect.
Returns or refunds are not offered simply because a customer does not like the particular random item, color, style, fragrance, or assortment received when the order was correctly fulfilled according to these Mystery Scoop terms.
For an item that arrives damaged, defective, materially incomplete, or incorrect, contact Moonstone & Mayhem within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the item and its packaging so we can review the issue. Where a valid claim is confirmed, we'll make it right — typically a replacement or a refund, depending on the situation. Whether we replace or refund is at our discretion.
19. Shipping & delivery
Shipping and processing estimates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery timing may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, address problems, or other circumstances. Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. If an order is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, additional shipping charges may apply before the package can be resent, to the extent permitted by law and disclosed to the customer.
If we are unable to ship your order within eight (8) weeks of purchase (or any shorter timeframe we have specifically promised), we will notify you and offer the choice to continue waiting, receive a refund, or accept a substitute of equal or greater value, consistent with Ohio law.
20. Promotional availability
Promotions, limited-edition inventory, special events, special beads, and other offers may be available only while supplies last or during specifically announced promotional periods. Any material limitations will be disclosed with the applicable promotion.
21. Prices & availability
Prices and available products may change. The applicable price is the price displayed when the customer places the order, subject to correction of genuine errors as permitted by applicable law. Optional add-ons are charged separately unless expressly stated otherwise.
22. Assumption of responsibility for product use
Customers are responsible for using products only for their intended purpose and according to manufacturer instructions, warnings, age restrictions, and safety information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Moonstone & Mayhem is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from misuse, alteration, improper storage, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, or use of a product for an unintended purpose. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited.
23. Changes to these policies
Moonstone & Mayhem may update these policies as the business, inventory, promotions, or legal requirements change. The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when that order is placed, subject to applicable law.
