Moonstone & Mayhem started with a simple idea: shopping should be FUN.

I'm Jersey born and raised, proudly Italian, slightly sarcastic, frequently inappropriate, and a firm believer that sometimes you just need to buy yourself a little Emotionally Supportive Nonsense.

And somehow, that idea turned into all of this.

Moonstone & Mayhem is my little corner of organized chaos — filled with mystery scoops, crystals, jewelry, beauty and self-care goodies, accessories, stationery, beachy treasures, useful finds, completely unnecessary finds, and plenty of surprises.

I may not live in New Jersey anymore, but Jersey will always be home.

You'll find little pieces of it throughout Moonstone & Mayhem — from Cape May Diamonds to authentic saltwater taffy straight from Ocean City.

It's my way of bringing a little Jersey Shore attitude, nostalgia and sunshine into every order.

🐾 Meet the Staff

I may own the business, but apparently I'm not actually in charge.

Teddy — Chief of Security
Protects inventory, guards giveaway prizes and accepts belly rubs in exchange for classified information. He was also named Employee of the Month despite an alarming amount of sleeping on company time.

Pawspector #621 — Executive Prize Selection
Our mysterious, off-camera Pawspector (read: my school-aged son) reports for duty whenever a pink paw-print bead appears. He chooses an item from the board for that customer's order — and his decision is FINAL. Management has no authority in this department.

Ocho — Director of Feline Resources & Kitchen Operations
Large. Loud. Opinionated. Frequently underfoot. Ocho oversees workplace complaints, kitchen activity and absolutely nothing else of measurable value.

Ben — The Man Behind the Mayhem

Every hot mess needs somebody behind the scenes making sure the whole damn thing doesn't catch fire. That's Ben.

Husband, tech wizard, professional problem solver, and the unfortunate recipient of approximately 847 daily sentences beginning with, "Okay, so I have an idea…" Ben is the man responsible for taking Mari's caffeine-fueled visions and turning them into an actual functioning website.

When he's not coding, troubleshooting, wiring together something that probably requires an antenna, or explaining for the seventeenth time why something doesn't work that way, you'll usually find him surrounded by computers, LoRa nodes, Offband Radio projects, Monster cans, and enough cables to restrain a small elephant.

His official title is The Man Behind the Mayhem, because "long-suffering husband who somehow got promoted to unpaid Director of Making Mari's Shit Work" wouldn't fit on the nameplate.

He builds. He fixes. He codes. He occasionally tells Mari no.

She usually asks again differently.

And if you're currently clicking around this website thinking, "Hey, this actually works pretty damn well," that's Ben.

Without him, Moonstone & Mayhem would just be a very elaborate shopping problem and a notebook full of ideas.

And then there's me...

Trying to keep this entire operation running while occasionally yelling at delivery trucks. 😂

At the end of the day, Moonstone & Mayhem isn't about taking itself too seriously.

It's about surprises.

It's about laughing.

It's about treating yourself.

It's about finding something completely unnecessary that makes you ridiculously happy anyway.

And it's about building a little community of Hot Mess Fairies who understand that sometimes life is messy, weird and chaotic...

so we might as well add some sparkle.
